Primary School History
Our nursery and primary school are open to Pupils between the ages of 15 months old and 10 years old. We start all pupils in our “Pre-Kinderfun” and then they eventually move to nursery school.
The period in which pupils move from Nursery to Primary school is extremely important, and that’s why we provide specialized programmes to ensure that every single child is well prepared and on track.
Our focus is on giving pupils the opportunity to explore their interests and cultivate their talents.
Here at Brookstone we create an environment that encourages individual growth and and community development. This allows pupils to not only be self aware, but to be aware of their community and its needs.
Our library is filled with books of all genres including fiction and non-fiction. We also provide reference and research books. pupils are encouraged to visit the library, from an early age.
We work hard to maintain a flowing, healthy relationship with Parents so that they feel comfortable speaking with teachers, staff, and leadership. This sort of relationship is so important for the pupil and that’s why we emphasise it.
Pupils Take The Following Examinations:
Years 3, 4, 5, 6: Cambridge International Primary Progression (CIPP) and Achievement Tests.

Brookstone was founded in 2003, welcoming a large group of students within our Nursery and Primary School.
Brookstone holds its first graduation ceremony with a 100% success rate into secondary school for the pioneer set.
In 2006, we launched our secondary school, welcoming a large number of students to our Junior Secondary Secondary School.
The year 2009 marked the introduction of Cambridge International Primary Programme (CIPP) which is now known as Cambridge Primary Checkpoint. Teachers involved became Cambridge Accredited Markers. This same year saw pupils from Brookstone and selected staff going on a ski trip in Anzere, Switzerland.
In 2013 Brookstone School (Nursery and Primary) celebrated ten remarkable years of great achievements and continuous improvement. Christmas Show, Independence Day celebration, Science Exhibition, Sports Day, Easter Funfair, Book Review and many more activities were all carried out flawlessly ensuring that every child was represented. Long Service Awards were given to pioneer staff for their hard work and commitment to excellence and awards were also given to pioneer pupils.
Our administrative block which was a bungalow was remodelled to a storey building to provide more room for the needs of our early years classes, as well as our administrative staff. French Day Celebration was taken a notch higher by ensuring that all staff and pupils wore a touch of the colours of the French flag. 2016 saw the commissioning of a world class Science laboratory.
